| Tanim is NOT a breeding dog and we do not breed Cockapoos nor do we
promote cross breeds. If interested in an English Cocker,
please contact us for information about Willowcroft Kennels.
Willowcroft is a pure bred English Cocker kennel. They do all
pertinent health testing for this
breed and stand behind their dogs 100%. |

Tanim came to
us after Nisse retired. Mogens was looking for a good
performance dog that wouldn't tax his injured leg -
He came to us from Willowcroft - home of many good performance dogs.
And he has very good looks, too! More importantly, he has a great
temperament. Easy going, confident, devoted and attentive, and always
ready for whatever Mogens asks of him.

This picture clearly shows
Tanim's athleticism - his great form as he flies over a solid agility jump. It
was taken at AKC's show in 2004. |
| Special thanks for
Michael Calhoun for giving Tanim
and Mogens their first and third leg in Utility. Bill Rodgers and Karen
Russell also were judges that Mogens and Tanim have qualified under in
their search for the OTCH. |
|
| After Tanim acquired his OTCH we were looking for new challenges. We had already been quite successful in scent hurdle racing, and there was this new thing called "Rally Obedience". So we decided to try our hand at that. And had great success. We acquired the title of Rally Excellent with great skill and ease - Tanim was only limited by his handler. |
|
Tanim has now passed on. He woke up one morning not feeling well. When checked by the vet his heart was racing faster than they could measure, and there was nothing that could be done to cure him. He passed away Sep. 7, 2011, just short of his 10th birthday. He was a highly accomplished, well beloved dog. His spirit will always be with us. He will be commemorated at the 2012 English Cocker Club of Canada's national specialty show, held here in Edmonton. His full title gives a good list of his accomplishments, except for not mentioning that he was the best, most loyal friend anyone could have. Long live the memory of Tanim:
